Big change on the horizon!;
Lichfield & Hatherton Canals Trust have been given a grant to restore the canal outside The Boat and will be getting water into our bit of their canal.
We are proud to be in the Good Beer Guide this year against some tough opposition.
Attention to the quality of food has kept us in The Good Pub Guide for the past 9 years and the quality of our beers has kept us in the Good Beer Guide for the past 4 years. The rolling beer festival of 3 ever changing real ales from micro breweries can be seen on the Beers page.
Most of our raw materials are sourced locally and prepared in an open kitchen, allowing customers to check the ingredients with the chefs for allergens and preferences. The menu is presented on a huge chalk board which is changed on a daily basis as our chefs find the best value and quality from our suppliers. Check with staff for the provenance of the ingredients.
We have a Garden Room which can be used for special events seating up to 40 where you can request a custom set menu to suit your taste and budget. For an example set menu please refer to the Menu page.
